Lead the organisation building critical software that protects national security and critical infrastructure
As Director of Products – NSI, you will lead the product operations organisation responsible for delivering a growing portfolio of critical software products. You will plan, drive execution, develop leaders, and help shape the transformation toward a strong product-driven organization.
With reference to the Senior Director, Operations, NSI, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the NSI business unit by ensuring that products are delivered on time, at the required quality, and in an environment where employees thrive, develop, and perform at their best.
The main responsibilities and tasks are:
Lead and develop the Product Operations organisation through leaders across Aarhus, Copenhagen, and Bucharest
Drive the execution of a growing portfolio of software products within national security and critical infrastructure
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with plans, objectives, and defined product features
Manage the overall product operations portfolio, including release planning in close collaboration with managers and stakeholders
Build and develop a high-performing organisation capable of meeting current objectives and supporting future growth
Foster a strong culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation across distributed agile teams
Take an active role in the NSI Operations management group and ensure strong cross-functional collaboration across Products, Services, Projects, and Platforms
Strengthen stakeholder collaboration across the NSI organisation
Promote the adoption of new technologies and modern development practices, including the strategic use of AI
You bring extensive experience from software product development and leadership in complex technology environments. You have a proven ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans while leading and motivating highly skilled technical teams. Experience from regulated or critical domains such as defense, security, or critical infrastructure is highly valued.
You have strong execution capabilities, a structured and analytical mindset, and the ability to manage complex product portfolios while ensuring quality, performance, and efficiency.
Educationally you hold a relevant academic degree at a minimum of bachelor’s level within Engineering, IT Management, or Software Development. Additional leadership or management education is considered an advantage.
As a person you are structured, analytical, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and execution. You communicate clearly and calmly and ensure alignment before moving forward. You have a collaborative and supportive leadership style that builds trust, engagement, and accountability.
You think in terms of outcomes and value creation rather than outputs alone and continuously seek smarter ways of working and improving processes. At the same time, you are decisive and capable of creating momentum and direction within a complex organisational environment.
